JG Farms
Agriculture encompasses our world: food eaten and clothes worn. Julia grew up on a 5,000-acre row crop farm consisting of primarily cotton and watermelons. From there, she participated in the National FFA Organization, where Julia raised swine as her Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). After high school, she was able to continue her family's livelihood as a sixth-generation farmer. Julia now grows over 500 acres of cotton and watermelons and purchased an additional 34 acres back in December 2021.

The Outdoors
One of Julia’s favorite childhood memories was going to the hunting cabin with her dad and their bird dog, Beau, for a weekend of duck hunting. A few things she always looked forward to were the pre-cooked bacon on white bread sammies and warming her fingers up in the blind’s stove room.
There was a span of time she and her dad stopped hunting. It wasn’t until the 2020 winter season that Julia decided to take it seriously and get into hunting for herself.
After two seasons of learning from some incredible friends and family, she spent most of the 2023 season hunting alone. Julia deepened her love for the outdoors by hunting different game animals and truly researching the sport. She also learned about a lot of stereotypes in the industry and developed a sense of urgency to make a difference in the way women in the hunting industry are seen and understood. There aren’t many things that make her feel more at home than the Arkansas timber and the northwest Missouri marsh.
